MEN'S SOCCER SET TO HOST BUSY SIX WEEKS OF CAMPS

INDIANAPOLIS - With the calendar turning to the month of June, the IUPUI men's soccer program will be moving forward with a number of camps, three of which will be hosted at the on-campus Michael A. Carroll Stadium. A fourth will be conducted in nearby Columbus, Ind.. 

The summer schedule will begin with the Junior Jaguars Day Camp (June 9-13) at Carroll Stadium. The camp is open to kids ages 6-14 and includes half day (9 a.m.-noon) and full day (9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.) sessions. Half day sessions are $100 while full day sessions are $200. During that same week, IUPUI will host a Strikers and Goalkeepers Camp at Carroll Stadium, running from 5:00-8:00 p.m. that week. Cost is $150/camper and registration can be done by clicking here

On July 8-11, Head Coach Isang Jacob and the coaching staff will host a four-day camp for boys ages 6-14 at the Richard Wigh Soccer Complex in Columbus, Ind.. Cost is $105/camper and spots can be reserved by clicking here.

Finally, IUPUI will host a Summer Elite Camp from July 13-17 at Carroll Stadium, open to boys aged 12-19. This camp gives prospective student-athletes an immersive experience, including college-level training sessions and an opportunity to stay in on-campus housing. In addition, campers will be exposed to the athletic training, sports nutrition and strength & conditioning staffs in an effort to experience "life as an IUPUI soccer player". "Like always, we're excited to be hosting a number of camps this summer," Jacob said. "It's an opportunity to educate and grow the game. That's at the core of what we believe in as coaches and it's something we're truly passionate about. 

"Plus, we want to give kids the opportunity to be on our campus and come to the Mike Carroll facility, which is one of the best in the country."
