May I bring my presentation on a USB flash drive?

Yes! We support Powerpoint and PDF slide decks. We support Keynote with prior arrangement (we'll bring a Mac laptop).

Should my slides be widescreen or 4x3?

IU typically provides a widescreen format similar to a laptop or TV. Most SICE classrooms operate natively at 1080p. Portrait-oriented and landscape-oriented documents both typically work well.

May I present using my laptop, tablet, or phone?

Yes! SICE and IU typically provide HDMI connections. You may connect any HDMI device.

How can I connect my device to the tech in SICE rooms?

You will need to connect to HDMI (standard 19-pin Male HDMI-A). Plan to bring any adapters you need.  If you must borrow an adapter, please make arrangements before you arrive. You will be expected to return the adapter after the presentation.

How can I connect my device to Wi-Fi?

IU provides the "IU Guest" SSID for all campus visitors. More information here: https://kb.iu.edu/d/atkx
